Listen: Purified Problems - @iiamsunnie (prod by @nobusounds)

Sunnie returns with a new single, Purified Problems.

Heed the word of the south jersey songstress as she really drops gems over an acoustic ballad produced by Nobu Sounds. Sunnie's soothing voice recalls broken friendships and relationships she no longer seeks to mend. What I enjoy vocally, is how she takes an unorthodox method of engineering the harmony in the foreground and the melody is sung at a lower volume with a hi-pass filter. Sunnie delivers her unique voice in such a pleasant way. Listen for yourself below. Look out for more by Sunnie.

Watch: We're Rolling - @iiamsunnie

We're Rolling is quite the double entendre. The very first image in the video treatment is Sunnie sparking one. In this new visual, Sunnie explores more contemporary R&B themes musically. The production is bouncy and she blends some pitch correction and autotune with her already wondrous voice. The video is less than two minutes so we're left waiting for more. Keep up and check out We're Rolling after the break.

Listen: Talk to Me, Baby - @iiamsunnie

When it comes to Sunnie I was late to the party so forgive me, all good parties start late anyway.

This is one of the few dance tracks I've heard from the Willingboro songstress and she pulled it off nicely. Talk to Me, Baby is fire. The production sounds like it's from UK. I don't know what they are doing over there but guys like Sam G, Cosmo's Midnight, and Medasin are loosely inspired by this sound. Sunnie's raspy but bright voice compliments the beat beautifully. You knew that already. Talk to Me, Baby after the break. I need you to feel this.

Watch: Settle - @iiamsunnie

Fresh off Sunnie's Magic EP is Settle.

I was glad to see my favorite track from the project got a visual treatment. Settle is even featured on our Sub R&B Fall Edition Playlist. The track samples and takes a brief melody of Erykah Badu's classic, Next Lifetime. Sunnie makes it her own on the hook. She takes us on scenes from Penn's Landing to bar side with a significant playing uno crooning melodic tunes. The vibes are real. Watch Settle after the break.

Watch: Feel it - @iiamsunnie

This past weekend the Willingboro, New Jersey songstress released the official video for Feel It. Sunnie's Feel It is a single off her latest project, Magic. I previously spoke about the twang in her voice that makes it unique. That rings throughout the project and most definitely on this track.

Take it back to the summer cookouts and feel these vibes in the video below.

Sub-R&B: The Fall Edition by @RamseySaidWHAT

It's my birthday be nice to me. I've decided to give a gift from me out.

If you haven't been under a rock I curated a playlist series entitled Sub-R&B. It encompasses and covers the sub genres and crossover music that I love to talk about (and shamelessly sing in the shower). The inaugural playlist dropped this summer and it's only right I released a Fall Edition. What better day than today?
The leaves are changing colors. The sun goes down earlier. The soundtrack to your life should change too. This is the Fall 2017 Edition of your favorite playlist: Sub-R&B. We're still giving you the same crossover vibes with tracks from some new artists, some old favorites, and some people you may have never heard of.

Listen to this and play mental chess with that special someone. Don't risk saying anything stupid. Just keep eye contact and let the lyrics speak for you. See you again when the weather drops below freezing. When cuffing season is in full effect, you'll need new tunes. Until then...Sub R&B: The Fall 2017 Edition right here on What's The Movement. You can click the links for the playlists below or you can stream the playlist after the break.

Watch: Paint on the Mirrors - @iiamsunnie

This was the joint that got me to listen to Sunnie.

The Jersey songstress actually dropped a project earlier this summer called Magic. Before then Paint on the Mirrors was the track I found strolling along on my twitter feed. Sunnie doesn't really sound like anyone I've ever heard before. She has a particular twang in her riffs that I like. It's unique and I love the songs that don't have a hook on them. It shows who's really a talent and who's not. The verdict? I'll let you decide. Watch her video for Paint on the Mirrors after the break. Be sure to check out her Magic project in the link above. Feel this...
