Editor's Picks Week of 3-13-16

Okay I get it I promised you guys a TBT but this will have to do. I have writer's block and my weekly picks includes a throwback right?

Project of the Week: T R A P S O U L - Bryson Tiller

Aside from Bas which I've been listening to for the review I dropped a few days ago this is the only entire group of music I've bumped. This was an interesting project for a debut. A collection of a bunch of sounds that really show versatility. Bryson even lays a few bars here or there in some of these songs. Anything from Don't to Sorry Not Sorry and Exchange. No matter the mood I've been revisiting this one. Listen to Timbaland produced Sorry Not Sorry below

Song on Repeat: March Madness - Future

It's March Madness and my bracket is filled. Probably doesn't end well for my Blue Devils but anyways I do turn up. It's not all boom bap and lover's ballads for me. Sometimes you just have to listen to something with no positive message or any message for that matter. Until April Fools day this will probably be in my playlist, especially in the gym. Future after the break.

Throwback Jawn: K.I.D.S - Mac Miller

This one reminds me of the days of my freshman year of college. The weather finally broke in WPUNJ's mountainous campus. Women are in sundresses, I finally get to bust out V-necks and my new pair of IX's, and I'm definitely gonna skip class after common hour. My homie has a roll up and blunt, I have a four loko and everyone is in a great mood. Kicking Incredibly Dope Sh*t was the soundtrack to those days. Nikes on My Feet, Senior Skip Day, and Good Evening were always in rotation in the backseat of my old thing's backseat. Cheers to the good ole days with no responsibility.

Underground Track: A Mile (A Mild) - Jephtoda

I'm not gonna get too deep into this new track. Jephtoda is a part of Jersey's Different People and he recently dropped his new EP Almost H.E.R.E. A Mile is a wavy track which features Ramon. If you live that life light one, relax and feel this. Expect more on this next week, til then listen to A Mile (A Mild) after the break.
