Listen: Funeral For A Heart - @DapaDon

I was blessed to meet and interview Dapa Don on NonFiction Radio last summer. Afterward he invited Bre and I to his show in Brooklyn.

Dapa Don is new to the WTM radar but there's no other way around it. The Brooklyn Bred Musik VP singer-rapper-songwriter is such a showman. I really don't want to put him in a box because he is so much more than just a singer but Funeral For A Heart is definitely an R&B project. I wish I got to see this one live but it only released on Valentine's Day. Maybe the title is a little morbid for the day it dropped but the project is not melancholy in entirety. I already alluded to my favorite track, My All. Live band and amazing back up singers make for a good show and he included them on the album. He goes back and forth with a soprano all over My All. This project deserves a video treatment because of how sensual the audio is. Long story short, we're going to be talking about Dapa Don for a long time trust me. Funeral For A Heart below after the break. I need you to feel this.
