Editorial: Wrapping Up 2015

Greetings friends,

Well, it's December and like the beginning of this year we have our jackets and scarves on again. This time the space between our ears has new theme music. It's been brought up to my attention that there are people who read WTM everyday. Some of you guys grab your newspaper, eat breakfast, shower and read WTM in the morning, hopefully not in that order (but shoutouts to you too). At one point in time I couldn't fathom that we'd have fans and people appreciate the opinions and updates from the staff and I. For that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have no idea how humbling and appreciative I am for that. As always WTM will always continue to be a platform for artists of all kinds to showcase their talent. That has been the mission since the tumblr page, to the radio show and podcast, and will be as long as WTM exists. I also must give thanks to the staff. 2015 has been great for us as we added some very talented writers in Simone, Zuri, and Mary. I've also been blessed to enlist Jacob to intern and help out the production standpoint.

Now on to our next order of business. I won't share too much of the plan but by the end of 2016 the goal is to have season one (or something along the lines of organizing) of an interview series out for the public. You may see me in other outlets with a few other organizations but WTM is still my first child and it's definitely priority. I don't wanna spill too much but there may or may not be our first showcase (or eight) coming soon. No word on a lineup but I'm sure it's gonna be lit (like bic, I couldn't resist). Keep an eye out for that in the coming months. I also want to reiterate our Logo contest is still going. You can click that link for more information. The site is going to have a new look in the new year and I'm also super excited about that. Last but certainly not least is the 5th Annual, Hip-Hop Album of the Year 2015 Edition. More on that in the next few weeks. All in all WTM has a lot in store and we pray to grow and develop to something worth bragging about. Once again I must say from the bottom of my heart, Thank You all.

Keep Reading and Listening My Friends,
