I first caught wind of D. Muñoz in a clubhouse room with Jersey creatives playing their music. The Epic Records signed artist played something unreleased that blew me away. After a dive into the rabbit hole, we came across his latest EP, Moments that was released at the top of 2020. Track two, A Lil Nothin was an instant ear-opener. This bop flexes some soothing vocals and a beautiful build-up to a hook that is an interpolation of the classic, Sumthin Sumthin by Maxwell. Listen for yourself after the break.
