I guess Lyric Jones got fresh after the laundromat, because she’s back with a Fly Aura this time around. It’s another collaboration track, this time with Sean Rosati. Both emcees are Boston representatives that attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music. They’re on the same wavelength as they trade verses and share the hook, matching each other’s lyrical fervor. Producer #bOom*! creates an instrumental that’s essentially audio spiced rum: it has a kick but still goes down smooth with a chaser, in this case the verses. It’s a good intro to both emcees (this is my first time hearing Rosati) but in my opinion it’s Jones’ best joint yet. She’s always been dope, but is getting better and coming into her own with continued seasoning. Check Fly Aura after the break, available to stream and even download via Lyric Jones’ SoundCloud.
