You know we never did get that short film on Good Kid Maad City (More on that later). This will have to do.
I woke up early this morning relaxing and excited for the last day in 2015. As promised I was recapping the last winners of Album of the Year and that included listening to GKMC by Kendrick Lamar. Before my speakers could let ScHoolboy Q finish his yawks in Maad City, TDE released his new short film, God is Gangsta. The film includes visuals for u and For Sale, two very important songs on To Pimp a Butterfly. u was super emotional as Kenny battles his inner demons and self reflects with bottle in hand. I swear the first time I hear this song I cried so you could imagine what a visual could do to a young brotha. The latter part takes on the audio of For Sale where K. Dot does battle again, this time with Lucy (Lucifer) himself. See who wins after the break below.
